The Good Life

Here at the home of the Ransom cat family, our cats live a life as close to ideal as possible.  All of our female breeding cats live in our home as part of the family.  The males have a large heated/cooled building separate from the females.  They have free access to the large, secure area during the day.  Their building has a tree and hanging beds. Every cat is loved and treated with respect.

 

All the cats, including kittens, are fed a home made raw diet of chopped chicken and beef, organ meat and ground bones as well as supplements like fish oil and taurine.  A balanced raw diet is essential for good health and longevity.

They have free access to a large outside area with a tree to climb, toys to play on and birds to chase.  The area has been secured with well designed fencing and electric wire to keep the Maine Coons in and the feral cats and racoons out.
